Congratulations to all finalists and winners of the 2013 Hutt News Hutt City Sports Awards! An elaborate evening of entertainment, recognition and socialising was enjoyed by over 400 attendees and the event has certainly cemented itself as the premier awards dinner in Wellington.

OVERALL WINNER: RHYS CASLEY (SOFTBALL)
Rhys Casley had a softball season he will never forget. The St Bernard’s College old boy overcame a serious shoulder injury to play in the World Series. Despite doubts about his fitness, he hit the crucial home run to win the final. He was then similarly influential in helping Dodgers win the national club title.
