2017 Hutt Valley Sports Awards nominations open
Organisers of the second annual Hutt Valley Sports Awards are calling for nominations for the 2017 event.
To be awarded during a lavish celebration ceremony on Thursday 18 May at the Walter Nash Stadium, the Awards are an opportunity for high performing sportspeople, officials and administrators to be recognised for their achievements over the previous 12 months.
With another stellar sporting year in the Hutt, competition is expected to be strong for finalists and winners in each of the award categories and the Judging Panel is looking forward to receiving a high calibre of nominations from a wide range of sports.
Nominations are able to be made by to all clubs, sports organisations and bodies, teams, and individuals at www.huttvalleysportsawards.co.nz.
The second annual Hutt Valley Sports Awards follows the amalgamation of the Hutt City and Upper Hutt Sports Awards, which occurred for the first time in 2016.
Over 500 people attended the inaugural black tie event in 2016, and a similar number are expected again for 2017.
